With Over $950K Raised, McAdams Demonstrates Strong Grassroots Support in Year-End FEC Filing

Salt Lake City, UT — The Ben McAdams for Congress campaign filed its 2025 year-end report with the Federal Election Commission, reporting $955,730 raised and $764,711 cash on hand, reflecting broad grassroots support and early readiness in Utah’s First Congressional District race.
McAdams raised more than three times as much as all other candidates combined, fueled largely by in-state support. Seventy percent of donors live in Utah, with contributions coming from 25 of the state’s 29 counties, including over 60% of all donations from people living in Salt Lake County.
“This campaign is powered by people who are tired of seeing their health care costs go up, housing get further out of reach, and politicians look the other way while our basic constitutional rights are threatened,” said Ben McAdams. “Utahns know that I stood up to Donald Trump before, even voting to impeach him when I knew it could cost me my seat, because protecting our Constitution and our democracy comes first.”
“I’m running because those same values are on the line,” McAdams said. “I’m ready on day one to stand up to corruption, to say no to abuses of power, including abuses by ICE that violate constitutional rights, and to fight for working families who are being squeezed by the high cost of health care, housing, and everyday living. I won’t back down now.”
The filing underscores McAdams’ readiness to immediately represent the district and hold powerful interests accountable, backed by strong local support and the experience to lead from day one.
